Trademark
Businesses operating in Vietnam face increasing competition, making brand protection essential from the very beginning. However, navigating trademark laws, classification rules, documentation, and procedures can be complex and time-consuming—especially for foreign-invested companies.
We assist clients in developing an effective trademark strategy, assessing registrability and risks, preparing and filing applications, responding to official actions, and following through the process until completion. While the grant of protection depends on the actual distinctiveness and legal status of each mark, our structured approach helps minimize uncertainty, reduce procedural risks, and improve the likelihood of successful registration.

The search cannot shows exactly whether a trademark can be granted the trademark registration or not because the database might not be updated for few months before the search, and the final decision depends on the NOIP of Vietnam after long time examination, but it helps predict the potential rejection in some cases, so that you can decide to adjust the trademark or choose another trademark before investing too much time, money and effort on a specific mark.
